Our profit was $814.64 and we served 159 people!  

A huge THANK YOU to Patti Soter who single-handedly organized this event!

And THANK YOU to everyone who supported us in this new endeavor.  We couldn’t have pulled this off without so many people helping!  Any and all help, big and small, made this event happen.

Here’s a Green Idea:

We are considering starting a school garden.  Our thoughts are to start out small and grow enough tomatoes for either the spaghetti dinner or another chili luncheon.

This could be an educational experience for our school children by learning how to start plants from seed, how to prepare the soil for a garden, how to maintain an organic garden, how to compost and how to harvest and preserve items from our garden.

Chili Luncheon Update

There have been a few challenges in putting this luncheon together. But we’ve had an AMAZING amount of support!

The Chili Luncheon might have been scrapped without your help (in no particular order):
Our school families who are donating ingredients and time to this event
Julie Schultz – Hornbacher and Angela Tompach for making specialty breads
Breunig Farms (Paul Breunig Family) for donating 50# of beef
Pick N Save for donating $50
Rhodes Bake N Serve for donating two cases of Texas dinner rolls
Savannah Oaks for donating 10 loaves of specialty bread

We are so thankful for the support!

Items still needed:
3- Bags of carrots
3- Pans bars, brownies or cake
6- Dozen cookies
8- Large individual (bulk) white onions
3- 2lb. bags of shredded cheddar cheese
3- Small bottles of Tabasco sauce
8- Peppers (cleaned and diced)
6 heads of cauliflower
2 heads of broccoli
4-6 packages of celery stalks
18 cucumbers
10- 16oz. containers of veggie dip

We still need workers! Hey 5th Graders - Can you help the day of the event?
